Make It Your Own Competition – in house judging

This competition is a great way to show your flair and imagination by manipulating a selection of images submitted by members. We had 27 entries from 17 club members who had certainly shown their skills and ability in achieving some superb transformations. Each image was viewed one at a time and the author was able to give an overview of how they had achieved the end result. It was evident that both experienced editing software users, and those who were new to the concept produced some excellent results, some of which were quite humorous. It certainly gave members a chance to experiment and use their initiative to think ‘out of the box’.

After a very close judging session, the top three were selected as follows:

In first place – Keith Harris – ‘Bridge over Troubled Waters’

In second place – Mirza Khurrum Baig – ‘Spidy Visiting i360’

In third place – Celia Buckley – ‘Baking Day’

The original images are below for comparison:

Grateful thanks to go all our members who produced some superb images, which gave us a very entertaining evening. Thanks also go to Rob for collating and presenting the images on the night, and Vince for counting the voting hands. Last, but not least, a very big thank you to all our members for continuing to support our lovely camera club.
