Welcome to Worthing Camera Club’s website.
The Club was formed on 26th April 1904 as Worthing Camera Club, and has seen a whole host of changes over the years to embrace the technological advances in photography, and continually and to continually strive for improvement of the club.
We normally meet every Tuesday evening between the months of September and April each year, and we always have a varied and interesting programme to cater for all of our members, but due to Covid, we are only having club meetings every fortnight via Zoom for 2021/22, or until further notice.
We welcome new members and through our regular schedule of club competitions, practical demonstration evenings, events and talks, we are all learning to improve our art.
We usually meet at the Quaker Meeting House, 34 Mill Road, Worthing, BN11 5DR at 7.00 pm, for a 7.30 pm start. Parking is available at nearby West Avenue, but for the season 2021/22 we are ONLY holding Zoom meetings.
The cost to join us is £30 for the whole season.
We are delighted to have club members with differing abilities behind the lens. We welcome some all photographers – from those just starting out in photography to professional photographers.
If you are thinking of attending our Zoom meetings from September, we would love to give you a warm welcome. Information about events is on the ‘Programme’ tab on this website, and if you wish to join us please use the ‘contact’ tab.
The Facebook group is open for people to join, and please request to join Worthing Camera Club (it has a photo of Worthing Pier at the top).
Our Zoom meetings and events have proved to be a great success, so please come along and meet our old, and new, members alike.
Look forward to seeing you!
