Once again we were treated to some excellent images from members and this was reflected in the generally high scores awarded by our judge Tracey McEachran, who did a great job but found it a real challenge at times to pick the Best from each Group and more so for the Best of Evening.

However, there could be only one from each group and these are shown below with their authors and our judge Tracey. The Best of Evening (and Best in Group – Landscape) was awarded to Keith Harris for his classic image of the “Super Moon” which occurred earlier this year. Sheila Higgs’s “Snowdrops in the Rain” was chosen as Best in Group – Nature along with Gerry Slack’s “Lucy” as Best in Group – Portrait, Maureen Martin’s “Conkers” as Best in Group – Monochrome and Khurrum Baig’s “Tranquil” as Best in Group – General.

Congratulations to each of them for achieving such a great standard and to all those who entered the competition and made it a successful evening.
