Print Merit Competition – Judge David Eastley LRPS
We were very pleased to welcome our judge for the evening, David Eastley LRPS. David is a member of Mid-Sussex Camera Club and an accredited Southern Photographic Federation Judge.
As this was a Merit competition the images were submitted under three categories of photographer – Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced. We had a total of 29 Prints entered (2 in the Beginners’ class; 15 in the Intermediate Class; and 12 in the Advanced Class. The standard of entries was excellent, improving again on our previous Print competition. David gave detailed and constructive feedback on every image. Providing hints and tips throughout the evening.
Following the judging in each class David selected the Class winner. The three class winners went forward for the ‘Best in Competition’, which went to Karen Reynolds her image “Bank Vole”.
The winners from each group category were:
Beginners – Shirley Mullins “Honestly Honesty”;
Intermediate – Karen Reynolds “Bank Vole”; and
Advanced – Mike Doyle “Pulchritudenous Pelican”
