Interclub Competition with Southwick, at the Southwick Community Centre
First of all we would like to thank Southwick Camera Club for organising and hosting the event. The whole evening was friendly and extremely well run. Also a thank you to all of our members who turned out to support the club in this competition. A bit of an unpleasant night for travelling.
The Competition itself was judged by Paul O’Toole and was split into two Groups: “Development”; and “Advanced”. With 15 images from each club, in each Group. As Paul made clear at the start of the evening, the scores given were to create a ranking between the images. So images with relatively low scores were only relative to all of the other images within the Group (Southwick and Worthing combined).
The standard was high across both clubs and across both groups, but Worthing were victorious in the Development Group (Worthing 269 pts, Southwick 257 pts) and in the Advanced Group (Worthing 256 pts, Southwick 254 pts).
