Welcome Back Meetings
We were very pleased to welcome old and new members to our ‘welcome back’ meetings for the new 2022/2023 season. This was a unique experience for the club as we ran a virtual meeting via zoom, with a parallel meeting in the Quaker Meeting House (QMH) for those members who wished to attend in person. There were 8 members attending via zoom with 14 members attending QMH.
Both meetings went very well and Kathie presented the programme for this season at the QMH and Mike presented the programme via zoom. The events will include a variety of speakers, competitions and practical events and the programme can be found on the ‘coming up’ page under the Programme tab on the website.
Members had sent in some images that they had taken over the summer months, which were displayed by Rob at the QMH and Mike via zoom, and were greatly enjoyed by everyone attending. This resulted in some very interesting conversations as well as some hints and tips on lighting, composition, etc.
Our grateful thanks go to everyone involved in organising both events, and our members for ensuring two successful evenings.
We look forward to seeing you again soon, and will give a very warm welcome to new members who would like to join us.
