This time an outing to Chichester to visit the Cathedral and then the Bishop’s Palace Garden.

We met outside the cathedral and some of our keen Wildlife photographers spotted one of the Peregrine Falcons perched on the spire. Pat showed us the Grotesques (Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip), I’ll let Pat explain. We entered the Cathedral individually and toured quietly and respectfully. The sun was out, so there was some lovely light coming through the stained glass windows.

After the Cathedral we decided to regroup in the Cloisters Cafe (it is exhausting work making all of these images). This also gave some an opportunity to capture images in the Cloisters.

After our comfort break we continued to the Bishop’s Palace Garden. There we were able to photograph the early Spring flowers and the specimen trees. The weather was excellent for the walk and towards the end some wandered off to take more photos of the catherdral.

A selection of our images are included here (please click on an image to enlarge it):

A big thank you to everyone who came along.
