Monday 16th December 2024 – Judge – Peter Meares
This year’s competition was hosted by Steyning Camera Club and was held in Beeding and Bramber Village Hall.
The competition was between ourselves, Steyning and Southwick Camera Clubs and our judge for the evening was Peter Meares (Chair of Henfield Camera Club). Each of the Camera Clubs were well and vocally supported. The hosts (Steyning) started the competition, followed by Southwick and then us. At halftime (21 rounds) Southwick were ahead by 4pts (Southwick 17, Worthing 13 and Steyning 12).
There were 42 rounds in total and we did much better in the second half, with the final scores: Southwick 31 pts; Worthing 29 pts; and Steyning 24 pts.
Grateful thanks go to Steyning Camera Club for hosting, to Karen and Barry for selecting our images for the competition and selecting our images on the night. Also thanks to Howard for projecting the images.
Last, and certainly not least, to all of our members who could attend on the night, and to everyone for supporting our club.
