Hello everyone

This week was donated to the Annual PDI competition, which is broken down into 5 categories namely Nature, Portrait, General, Landscape and Monochrome. This gives a vast amount of diversity for the those competing. Well done to all those category winners; your images were splendid.

A great night was had by all but it was not just down to the images. I would like to say an enormous thank you to David Eastley our judge who led a fun, conversation like, and information packed review of each image – we all took something from his judging! Well done to everyone for submitting such lovely images and making this year so memorable. The community spirit of the club is shown by the great attendances of members (and visitors) who showed their support for all the images in the show.

Also to Matt Frost for his image ‘focus’, which was the winner of the Portrait category
and achieved 2nd place overall:

And to the following winners of the 3 remaining categories:

‘The Match’ by Mike Ghibaldan – General category

‘Aerial View of Grand Canal’ by Mirza Khurram Baig – Landscape category
