We welcomed back Lyn Phillips for another entertaining and interactive evening. Lyn spoke on composition and new ideas in the ever-expanding world of photography where technology is enabling more and more people to achieve shots that were once only in the realm of specialised photographers. She encouraged us to take a different look at what we normally do – to think more laterally. She gave us some exercises with just a flower as a subject, and asked us to try and think of the position, angle and depth of focus to attract the viewer and potentially the judge if it were to be a competition shot. Many ideas were shared and Lyn presented a selection of options for us to go away with and think about. A very entertaining evening and our thanks go to Lyn for sharing her experience with us!
