- Between 1 – 22 June Worthing held its Festival Fringe and we ran the Smartphone Camera Challenge.
Worthing Camera Club wants to send a huge thank you to everyone who came along on our Summer Smartphone walks, took on the photo challenges, and submitted their images for the competition! It was great to see the creative use of props, accessories, and editing techniques used on so many of the submitted images.
And a massive thank you, too, to our helpers and judging panel.
The whole idea behind the Festival is to get everyone (locals and visitors alike), flexing their creative muscles and showing off Worthing’s amazing talent. For us, the smartphone challenge is all about proving that your phone camera is a “proper” camera – and with just a bit of understanding, it can capture truly beautiful moments. We had fun with this year’s competition, and we really hope you enjoyed being a part of it! It’s truly wonderful to see the endless creative ways people capture the same scene.
Congratulations to all our challenge winners!
