On Tuesday we hosted our second PDI (Projected Digital Image) Competition. A Merit Competition means our members competed within their respective groups: Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced.

We were delighted to see a high volume of entries, demonstrating the talent within our club:

  • Beginner Class: 21 images

  • Intermediate Class: 26 images

  • Advanced Class: 27 images

  • Total Entries: 74

The evening’s judging was expertly handled by Robert Mowat. Despite the significant number of entries, Robert took the time to provide thoughtful and constructive feedback on every single image across all three classes. This input is invaluable for each of our members.

A sincere thank you to Robert for his careful consideration and insightful comments—the Committee and Club truly appreciate his dedication.

Following the judging of each class, Robert selected a winner from each group. Beginners -Peter Horsfield with “Field of Lines”, Intermediate – Russell Field with “Spring”; and Advanced – Nick Beardmore with “Millennium Bridge”.

Robert then selected the Overall Winner on the night and the Winner was Nick Beardmore with “Millennium Bridge”. Peter Horsfield was judged to be second and Russell Field third. Congratulations to each of the Winners and to the Overall Winner, Nick.
