2020-2021 Season

Welcome to Worthing Camera Club’s website.

Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic we are currently unable to have physical meetings at our usual venue. However, in order to continue with Club meetings the 2020-2021 season commenced at 7.30 pm on 22nd September 2020 via a Zoom meeting. Unfortunately the club will be unable to have a full programme of Tuesday evening meetings in the usual way, but a revised programme is available on the ‘Programme’ tab.

The full programme usually covers a mix of interests listed below, and we will endeavour to include as much as possible during these difficult times:

  • Presentations on photographic subjects by external speakers
  • Tutorials from both external presenters and our own experienced club members
  • Competitions, including:
    • 2 which are against other clubs, mostly for fun
    • 6 which score towards our annual merit table (3 Print, 3 PDI)
    • 3 which follow tutorial evenings or outings on set themes
  • Informal Evenings enabling members to showcase their own work and get to know each other

The revised programme will be available here when finalised.  We also organise informal ‘summer outings’ to get out and about when the club breaks up for the summer season at the end of April and the list will published in the ‘Coming Up’ section. (Please hover your cursor over the Programme 2020-21 tab above).

We are an inclusive club with the objective of helping members develop their skills and improve their images so, whether you use a phone, compact, bridge, mirrorless or DSLR camera, it’s the enjoyment of capturing, developing and sharing the photo that matters.

We are currently reviewing our membership fees, which will be published here when finalised for next season. Our zoom meetings have proved to be a great success so please come along and meet our old, and new, members alike.

Look forward to seeing you!
