Outing: Mill Hill Nature Reserve, Shoreham-by-sea

A renowned local beauty spot near Shoreham-by-Sea, one of Sussex’s most spectacular chalk grassland habitats. The reserve offers panoramic views across the Adur Valley and Shoreham. It is particularly well known for its butterfly population, with more than half of Britain’s butterfly species recorded there, including the beautiful Adonis Blue and Chalkhill Blue. We will have many photographic opportunities: macro photography; landscapes; and capture the rich variety of wildflowers and birdlife that make this site so special.
