- Theme: Preparing images for print or online display, and receiving constructive feedback.
- Beginner Focus:
- Basic understanding of image resolution for print vs. web.
- Color spaces (sRGB vs. Adobe RGB).
- Simple ways to present photos (online galleries, small prints).
- Experienced Focus:
- Soft proofing for print.
- Working with print labs and profiles.
- Advanced presentation techniques (portfolio creation, storytelling with a series).
- Giving and receiving constructive critique.
- Practical Activity (All): “Critique & Share”
- All participants bring 1-3 of their favourite images (or images they want feedback on).
- Task:
- All: Present images one by one.
- Focus on identifying positive aspects and one area for improvement.
- Provide in-depth, technical, and artistic critique, guiding others on how to improve.
- A facilitated respectful and constructive critique session. Discuss best practices for preparing images for different outputs.
