The Exposure Triangle

• Aperture: Controls light and depth of field.
  • Aperture and how focal length and distance between the subject and the camera effects depth of field
• Shutter Speed: Controls light and motion.
  • Freeze action, create motion blur and other ways of freezing action and creating motion blur
• ISO: Controls light and digital noise.
  • Including “Dual base ISO”

Metering & White Balance

• Metering:
  • Evaluative/Matrix, Center-Weighted and Spot
• White Balance: 
  • Adjust for different light sources, set it manually or leave it alone
