Outing: Brooklands

Join us for a relaxed evening outing to Brooklands Park. Centred around the lake, the park provides a variety of photographic opportunities in a peaceful and accessible setting.

A gentle walk around the water offers ever-changing viewpoints, with reflections, waterfowl and seasonal flora all adding interest. As the light softens towards evening, there is excellent potential for capturing atmosphere, colour, and texture;  ideal for both landscape and nature photography.

The park is also home to a range of birdlife, so those with longer lenses may enjoy photographing water fowl and sea birds of all kinds. Paths are generally level and well-maintained, making this a suitable location for all members.

There will be plenty of time to explore at your own pace, experiment with composition, and share ideas with fellow members. Whether you prefer close-up studies, wider scenic views or simply a leisurely stroll with your camera, this outing offers something for everyone.
