Speaker – Urban Exploration to Fine Art: A Photographic Journey (Viveca Koh LRPS ARPS FIPF)

This presentation traces Viveca’s artistic journey from 2008, highlighting the rapid development of her craft.
Urban Exploration in 2009 led to captivating images of abandoned asylums and hospitals, garnering positive feedback which led to distinctions from The Royal Photographic Society (Licentiateship 2010 and Associateship 2011). Over this period Viveca’s work moved towards a distinctive painterly style. This talk is about how Viveca developed in terms of style and maturity of vision during this period. The talk promises a visual feast, including tales of exploration and a mysterious image that may or may not feature a ghost!
Viveca attained Fellowship of The Royal Photographic Society in 2014 in the Visual Art genre and in 2021 she achieved Fellowship of The Irish Photographic Federation.
Viveca is an LRPS Panel Member and Visual Art Panel Member, assessing all three levels of RPS distinctions in these categories.
