Outing – Arundel and the River Arun

A circular walk from Mill Road, along the north and west side of the River Arun. We then turn west and pass Swanbourne Lake, before turning back (and up) via Hiorne Tower. We then return past Arundel’s Cathedral and through the town centre to Mill Road.

Accessibility: Not suitable for wheelchair users. The path along the river is narrow and can be very muddy. The paths alongside Swanbourne lake and up to Hiorne Tower are along bridle paths, with a small flight of steps to the green where Hiorne Tower sits.
