DESCRIPTION:Photography IS all about seeing. \nMost of us go through everyday life not noticing very much at all. Our minds are tuned this way: to notice novelty at the expense of the familar; to make conscious what is important for survival; to filter out based on our likes and dislikes and values. We also tend to get stuck with concerns of past or future and are distracted from the present moment\, which is all there is. \nIn the talk\, Ken provides strategies for suspending judgement\, for identifying and clearing ‘Barriers to Seeing’\, so that we can see more freely and expansively\, appreciate the world with fresh eyes\, find the ‘Magic in the Mundane‘. \nThis is about ‘Redisovering the Joy of Seeing‘ \nNon-members are able to join us for this talk.
