Our welcome evening on the 17th September 2019 saw existing members (keen to get the new season underway) by welcoming new and prospective members, who were extremely interested in the format of the club. Much discussion ensued as to how all members can help in the development of their photography and what the club can offer to enhance their skills.
Refreshments were welcomed throughout the evening and some Committee members brought along prints from last season. There was also a powerpoint presentation running throughout the evening showing some projected digital images (PDIs), which created interest and discussion (a small selection is shown below). This helped new and prospective members see the different styles and techniques that had been produced.
The 2019-2020 programme is now underway and we are looking forward to welcoming our guest speaker Lyn Phillips for an interactive meeting on the 24th September. Lyn is a very welcome guest of the club and she always makes her evenings fun, informative and interactive with great photography tips, so please come along and join in. We look forward to seeing you.
